Hi, friend. The cherry blossom party is running through Japan from south to north. People love to Karaoke party under the tree with snacks.

Today, I’d like to write about snacks. Stick with finger foods or cuisine that can be stabbed with a fork or tooth pick. Those snacks are dry and grease-free, will appreciate? It might not certain for Japanese snack. For example, when my neighbor went to cherry blossom viewing party he bought these snacks.

1.Yakitori, “grilled chicken” has various kinds! A white meat chicken, chicken and negi, shiitake mushrooms and chicken, chicken wings, asparagus wrapped in bacon, chicken gizzard, chicken liver, chicken cartilage, enoki mushrooms wrapped in thin sliced pork, Chicken intestine, beef tongue, pork belly, pork belly and negi, chicken meatballs, chicken tail, deep fried tofu, etc, etc… and many of them are reserved with sweetened soi-source. If you want another taste, there are two or three choice. Salt & lemon juice, salt & garlic powder or tomato ketchup & mustard. Yakitori in the plastic-disposable pack are most favorite snack. People ordered their favs to the nearest yakitori bar, and took out when they went to party.

2.Similar spit‐roasted foods, “okonomi-kushi”, “beef steak”, “pork steak” and “squid steak”. Some clever vendors open their shop in the park. Though, they are rare in my town.

3.Karaage, the Japanese style fried chicken (often with salt). On the way to party, you can purchase it in convenient store. 5-6 pieces in cardboard cup is sold at 250-300 yen. If you came upon the supermarket, 8-12 pieces in plastic pack might sold at 350-400 yen. Which is more convenient?

4.Sushi, handy-wrapped “makizushi” and traditional sushi. The traditional sushi is expensive. But nearby supermarket reserves it in handy cost. 10-12 pieces sushi ( of cheep, popular kinds only) in the plastic pack costs 500-600 yen. At weekend, the selectable sushi sale would go on the store. Sold at 1 piece / 60yen, all kind of sushi. It is very polluter and clouded.

5.Sweets ans other snacks matching for beer like potato chips.
